医学の科学哲学ワークショップのお知らせ (English Follows)

本年1月に開始した医学の科学哲学研究会について、第一回のハイブリッドワークショップを開催いたします。今回は、Science, Medicine, and the Aims of Iquiryの著者であるSomogy
Varga氏もお招きし、講演をいただきます。医学の科学哲学に関心のある皆様のご参加を広くお待ちしております。

フラッシュトークの募集
今回のワークショップでは、フラッシュトークを募集しております。対面・オンラインどちらでも発表が可能です。医学の哲学に関連があれば、5分以内の枠で自由にお話いただけます。ご希望のありますかたは、参加登録の際にご登録ください。時間の関係で全員のご発表希望を承れない場合は、対面の発表者を優先させていただきますので、あらかじめご了承ください。

トラベルグラント
また今回のワークショップでは、対面参加をする若手参加者のためのトラベルグラントを準備しております。こちらは、フラッシュトークをされる方を優先させていただきます。数に限りがありますが、どうぞ奮ってご応募ください。

We are pleased to announce that our Philosophy of Medicine Workshop
will be held as follows. We are honored to welcome Dr. Somogy Varga,
author of Science, Medicine, and the Aims of Inquiry, as a keynote
speaker. We warmly invite anyone interested in the philosophy of
medicine and related fields to participate.

Date & Time: Saturday, April 12, 2025, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (JST)
Venue: The University of Tokyo, Graduate School of Medicine (Exact
location to be announced)

Call for Flash Talks
We invite participants to present flash talks at the workshop.
Presentations can be given either in person or online. Any topic
related to the philosophy of medicine is welcome, and the talk can be
1–5 minutes long.
If you are interested in giving a flash talk, please indicate it when
registering. Due to time constraints, we may not be able to
accommodate all requests. In such cases, priority will be given to
in-person presenters.

Travel Grants
We are also offering travel grants to provide partial support for
early-career researchers and medical professionals attending the
workshop in person. Due to limited funding, the grant will not cover
international travel. Priority will be given to those presenting flash
talks. Please indicate your interest upon registration.
