A postdoctoral position is available at the University of Utah to perform electrophysiological experiments to understand neural mechanisms underlying vocal rhythm generation in African clawed frogs. A background in cellular electrophysiology is required. In addition to receiving a strong training in cellular and systems neuroscience, the collaborative nature of the research program provides an opportunity to pursue various directions of research including computational neuroscience, optical imaging, and molecular neuroscience.
